Binance Hacking Investigation Report, Fake Interviews and Intrusion Paths through Internal AI Tools
Binance has released an initial investigation report into the $6.34 billion virtual asset takeover accident. The new key point this time is that the attacker did not break through the wallet at once, but instead phased out the employee's devices and access rights over many months. According to the report, the tampering development tool downloads in June, the fake job interviews in September, and the internal AI tool exploits in October are all under one attack stream. This was followed by an attack that finally gained access to the wallet transaction signature system.
